Entrepreneurial Intention in First-Year Higher Education Students

 Higher education students attending Entrepreneurship Education programs develop new skills to foster their future Entrepreneurial Intention. According tothe Theory of Planned Behavior, the dimensions of Personal Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Behavioral Controlare the predictors of Intention.As expected, in Entrepreneurship Intention studies, this theory permitted a more accurate prediction of students' intentions and goal attainment. This is essential to confirm (or not) conventional insight that entrepreneurship education increases some students' attitudes to intend to start a business in the future, resulting in the Higher Education programmesinfluence.

This research aims to evaluate the impact of Entrepreneurship Education in first-year students training program. The study was carried out in two moments: before and after being taught classes related to EE to identify relations. The results show that the TPB model is an adequate analysis tool to assess Entrepreneurship Education impact, suggesting that there is a positive influence on students' Entrepreneurship Intention in the early stages of academic learning.
